Engagement❤️🎀

Yuvraj Pov

I was there with my butterfly the whole night.
She couldn't sleep.
She kept twisting, turning, clutching the blanket like it could hold her pain. But I knew it couldn't. So I stayed.

With her.

Right beside her. Holding her every time she shook. Wiping her tears before they could fall. Kissing her forehead like I could erase every word thrown at her.

Because if I wasn't here tonight...

She would've shattered in silence.

And I won't let that happen.
Not anymore.
Not ever.

The clock hit 8 a.m.

The air felt heavy-like something big was coming. Because it was.

I had a conference to attend.
No-we had a conference to attend.

And I had a decision to make... one that would burn the past and build her future.

I turned towards her, her lashes still damp, her face soft in sleep, tucked in my hoodie like a fragile storm. I carefully touched her cheek.

"Ruhanika..." I whispered, brushing her hair out of her face. "Baby, wake up..."

She stirred, her eyes fluttering open, and the first thing she did-

She hugged me. Tight. Like I was her only anchor in this mad world.

"I'm sorry..." she mumbled into my chest. "For everything... for yesterday... for being weak..."

I pulled her tighter.

"No," I whispered, kissing the crown of her head. "You were strong. You are strong. And I'm proud of you."

She looked up, her eyes still glossy but fierce this time.

"After today," i said with fire in my voice, "we never cry for them again."
"We don't beg."
"We don't explain."
"And we never let them ruin us again."

She took a deep breath. "I promise."

I smiled.

God, I loved this girl.

She got ready quietly, stronger than she had looked in days.

While fixing her earrings, she turned towards me and asked, "By the way, I didn't ask you yesterday, but... this conference... what's it for?"

I smirked.
"You'll see, jaan."

Thirty minutes later, we descended the stairs together.

Ruhanika's hand was in mine. Her head high. Her eyes calm.

Shrinkal, Shraddhadi, and Arjun didn't know what happened yesterday.
We didn't tell them.

No one knew.

Because they didn't deserve to.
This war was personal-and the battlefield was already set.

I stood in the center of the hall.

"There's an announcement to make," I said, my voice loud and clear. "Everyone, please gather in the garden."

Within minutes, the garden was packed.

The moment the cameras turned to me, questions came flying like arrows-
"Mr. Yuvraj Singhania, what's the announcement?"
"Who is this woman with you?"
"Is this related to the Khanna scandal?"
"Are you officially confirming your relationship with Ruhanika Khanna?"

I didn't flinch.

Instead, I laced my fingers tighter with hers.

She stood still, poised, but I could feel her heartbeat racing through her palm.

I gave her a small glance-the one I knew calmed her.
And then turned to the crowd, letting my voice cut through the noise.

"I am Yuvraj Singhania."
"And the woman standing beside me is Ruhanika Khanna."

A hush spread across the garden.
Phones were up, flashes clicked, eyes wide.

But I wasn't done.
I looked back at her, slowly.

And then faced the media again, smirking slightly.

"I've brought you here for a reason."
"To give you the answer you've been hunting for."

"We are getting engaged."

"Tomorrow."

For a second, even time stopped.

Ruhanika's head turned toward me in disbelief, her eyes full of shock, confusion... and something else.

"Yuvraj...?" she whispered.

But I leaned closer, brushed her hair back behind her ear.

"Wait, baby... just listen." I said softly.

Then I faced the cameras again and repeated it louder-

"Yes, you heard it right."
"I'm announcing it publicly."
"Me and Ruhanika Khanna are getting engaged tomorrow."

"She's going to be my fiancée. My future. My forever."

I paused-just to let that sink in.

"So to those who questioned her... broke her... dragged her name with the Khanna scandal-"
"Watch closely."
"Because tomorrow, the same girl you tried to humiliate..."
"Will become Mrs. Singhania."

And I meant every damn word.

I turned toward her again, took her hand like I always do-like I always will.

We didn't wait for more questions.

We walked out of that crowd like a damn power couple-like fire and thunder walking side by side.

Everyone stared.

But she?

She looked at me with teary eyes, her lips trembling.

And I just smiled.

Because finally, after everything...

Tomorrow... she's going to be mine.

Forever.

Ruhanika's POV

I was shocked.

No-shocked was a very small word.

I stood there, numb... breathless... trying to process what just happened.

He really did that.

He just announced our engagement-publicly.

I always knew we'd end up together.

I always knew this man would make me his, one way or the other.

But I never expected him to tell the world like this. Not so suddenly. Not so boldly.

And yet-somewhere deep inside-I wasn't mad.
Just... shaken.

Once we walked in, the buzz didn't stop.

Twinkle came rushing toward me, practically jumping in excitement.
Shraddha ji hugged me tightly, smiling from ear to ear.
Arjun and Nakul ji both stepped forward, one after the other, congratulating us like they'd been waiting for this day.

Everyone was too excited to notice the storm inside me.

I raised my hand gently.

"Stop."

I turned to face him.
He stood tall, unapologetic, exactly like he was out there.

"Yuvraj..." I whispered, my voice trembling.
"What was that?"

He didn't blink.
Didn't look away.

He just stepped closer, lowered his voice like it belonged only to me.
"That was for the world to know you."
"To know what you mean to me."

And just like that, I melted again.
Just like that, the storm inside me turned into quiet surrender.

But Twinkle, as always, broke the moment.
"Finally! The engagement is tomorrow, guys!" she squealed.
"We have to do everything today-shopping, jewelry, dry fruits, decorations, cards-everything!"

I nodded slowly, trying to match her speed while my mind was still stuck on his voice, his eyes, and the way he said "mine."

Then Nakul bhaiya came forward, calm as always.

"Do we invite the Khanna family?" he asked bluntly.

The name hit like a stone-but before I could even react-
"Yes."

Yuvraj's answer came swift. Firm.

I looked at him, confused... unsure.

But he looked back, eyes locked on mine with something raw... powerful... possessive.

"Let them come."
He whispered again.
"Let them come this time, butterfly."

I didn't speak after that.
I just nodded.

Because even if the world questioned me, I didn't need to question him.

I trusted him.

And just then-my phone buzzed.

I picked it up.

Vikram Bhaiya.

His voice was heavy, and fast.
"what is this I'm hearing?"
"You're really getting engaged?"

I exhaled softly.
"Yes, bhai. It's happening."

He went silent for a second.

Then his voice came again-half worried, half amused.
"Everyone's gone mad in this house since Yuvraj's confession."

I smiled, but my voice was sharp.
"Good for them."
"Maybe now they'll learn who I really am."

Yuvraj, hearing every word, came closer and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"You're going to be mine tomorrow," he whispered into my ear, low and deep.
"So let's decide what we're going to wear, hmm?"
"Come on, butterfly... we've got an engagement to slay."

And just like that, he walked ahead, dragging me with him...
...like I was his forever.

Author's POV
The living room was silent-like someone ad just thrown a bomb and left.

No one had spoken since last night.

The tension was suffocating.

Then, ruhanika mother leaned forward on the couch, trying to sound casual-but her tone cracked.
"Did... any of you see the news today?"

Aarohi looked up from her phone, eyes narrow.
"News?"

"TV. Turn it on." ruhanika mother said.

Aarohi picked up the remote and flipped to a channel.

And there it was.

"Breaking News: Business tycoon Yuvraj Sighania makes it official-engagement with Ruhanika khann tomorrow!"
"Sources say it will be an intimate yet high-profile ceremony."

Dead silence.

No one breathed for a second.

Aarohi's jaw tightened.
Ruhanika father clenched his fists.

And then-

"She did what?" Aarohi's voice snapped like a whip.
"She has completely lost her mind!"

"This is insanity! We didn't raise her for this." her father said stood up, voice rising.
"This is not a relationship-this is rebellion."

Her mother scoffed.

"She thinks she's independent now?" he said coldly.
"Wearing modern clothes, going wherever she wants, and now announcing an engagement without her family's permission?"

"She can't take such a big decision without us!" Aarohi hissed.
"She's just doing this to show us. She always wanted to prove something-and this time she chose him to do it."

Her father voice was dripping with venom.
"That Yuvraj-he's nothing but a bad influence. Rich, arrogant, controlling.

Her father turned to the others.
"This engagement cannot happen. We'll stop it."

And then came the calm voice of Ruhan

He had been silent until now, watching all of them.
"Stop it?" he said quietly.
"And then what?"

Aarohi turned toward him, eyes burning.
"What do you mean?"

"I mean, if you stop her now... you'll lose her forever." he said

Rudransh stood beside him.

His face wasn't soft-but it wasn't hostile either.

Just calm. Cold. Protective.
"She didn't announce it to insult you."

"Then why didn't she tell us?" Her mother argued.

"Maybe because she knew you'd react exactly like this," Vikram muttered, voice low but cutting.
"You never accepted her choices."

"She's too young for this," Her mother interrupted.
"She thinks she's in love, but she's making a fool of herself. All these stories... all this attention-she's obsessed with being seen. She's not ready for marriage."

Aarohi nodded in agreement.
"Exactly. She's rushing into this just to make a statement. She's always been insecure, always wanting more attention. Even now-see how she's thrown our name into the media circus!"

Rudransh eyes narrowed.

That was enough.
"She's not insecure," he said.
"She's strong. Stronger than any of us ever gave her credit for."

"And if she found someone who made her feel seen-then maybe it's because we never did." kabir added, sharp and honest.

Her mother looked furious now.
"Are you all siding with her?"

Ruhan crossed his arms.
"No. We're standing with her. There's a difference."

Aarohi glared.
"And what about the family name? Society? Reputation?"

kabir gave her a cold look.
"You mean your ego?"

The room went silent.

And in that silence, they all knew-

They couldn't control her anymore.

And deep down, they hated that.

She didn't need their approval.

She had chosen herself.

Rudransh's POV

I don't even know how long we sat in silence after that chaos.
The house was still echoing with words-harsh ones, bitter ones.
But here... in this corner of the terrace where we brothers always found space to breathe-there was only guilt.
Yug had his head down, arms resting on his knees.
Kabir was just staring at the sky.
Ruhan sat beside me. Silent. Still
None of us said anything for a while.

Because what do you even say, when your own sister had to take a decision as huge as engagement...

Without any of us beside her.

I exhaled sharply.
My voice came out rough.
"She really did it."

Kabir didn't look at me.

He just nodded once.
"Yeah."

"She's getting engaged tomorrow," Yug whispered, almost to himself.
"And she didn't tell us. Not even once."

A part of me wanted to be angry.

Not at her. Never at her.

At myself. At all of us.

Because I remembered the day we let her walk away.

No, not physically.

Emotionally.

We were there, but we weren't with her.

We heard her cry... and we stayed quiet.

We saw her getting crushed under the pressure... and we looked away.

I closed my eyes.

I remembered the way she used to fight with me, yell at me just to get a reaction.
Back then, I thought she was being dramatic.

Now I know... she was just desperate.
Desperate to feel like she mattered to us.

Kabir finally spoke.

His voice was flat.
"We hurt her."

Yug looked up at him.
"We didn't stop them. We saw what mom and dad were doing to her. How they kept comparing her. How they made her feel like nothing."

Ruhan's voice cracked.
"We let her break. And now she's building herself without us."

That line.

It tore through my chest.

She's building herself. Without us.

Author's POV

The day had finally arrived.

The engagement day of Ruhanika and Yuvraj.

The sun was still high, but the venue was already glowing with lights.
A private estate outside the city had been chosen-royal, yet intimate. The kind of place that looked like it came out of a dream.
Decorators rushed in and out, arranging fresh orchids, chandeliers, lights, stage pillars, and a white aisle scattered with pink petals. Every corner of the hall whispered elegance, while the air smelled of tuberose and excitement.

Arjun and Nakul were monitoring everything like seasoned event managers.

"Bro, make sure the lights behind the dais are warmer," Arjun called out.

"And the floral arch on the main entrance needs more roses. It has to be perfect," Nakul added with his usual calm, but sharp tone.

At the same time, inside a royal dressing suite...
Twinkle and Shraddha were practically pulling lehengas out of nowhere like a mini fashion show explosion.

Rohanika just sat at the center, eyes wide, lips pressed tight as her heartbeat fluttered like crazy.

She looked at the mirror.

She was actually getting engaged.
To Yuvraj.

It still felt surreal.

Sharradha sat beside her, one arm around her shoulder, the other playing with a bangle in her hand.

"You good?" she whispered.

Rohanika just nodded slowly.

That's when Twinkle walked in with the final lehenga-a deep wine-red velvet piece, embroidered with dull gold thread and paired with a sheer dupatta.

"Now this," Twinkle smirked, "is what Mrs. Yuvraj Singhania should wear."

"Not Mrs. yet," Rohanika blushed, turning away.

But Twinkle didn't let it go.

"Oh please, you're already glowing like a bride. Yuvraj will faint seeing you. Don't act innocent now."

"Stop it-"

"Stop it what? Should I remind you how you kept checking his name on your phone last night? 'Why isn't he texting?' 'What if he changes his mind?' 'Should I call?'" she mimicked teasingly.

Rohanika grabbed a cushion and threw it at her

And then, just when she thought it couldn't get worse-

Two more key figures had arrived.

Veer and Vikram.

Both dressed in subtle sherwanis, looking nothing short of a royal painting-grace, grit, and that signature Singhania charm.

"How's the lighting?" Veer asked, eyeing the stage sharply.

"Perfect," Vikram muttered, before quickly adding, "But change the centerpiece. It should scream Rohanika."

The staff nodded and got moving instantly.
No one questioned them.

Because these two had earned their place here-not just as Ruhanika's brothers, but as pillars who now stood behind this relationship with full strength.

One hour later...

The venue looked like something out of a movie.

The lights dimmed a little as Twinkle stepped onto the stage in a soft lilac saree, her heels clicking with every confident step. She took the mic, gave a light smile, and looked around.

"Ladies and gentlemen," she said, her voice playful, "before we all pass out looking at today's dulha and dulhan... let me have a minute with you."

Everyone chuckled softly.

She looked straight ahead. "Today... my best friend is getting engaged. And not just to anyone. But to the guy who spent every second proving how much she meant to him."

The crowd grew quiet, listening.

"And Yuvraj... I hope you're listening. Because I still remember all the times she cried, fought with the world, and said she'll never look back."

Her eyes twinkled.

"But she did. And now... you better make sure she never regrets that."

And just then-

The doors opened.

Every head turned.

Yuvraj walked in.

Wearing a deep maroon sherwani with intricate golden embroidery, hair perfectly styled.

And in that moment, the hall wasn't loud anymore.

Just quiet admiration.

And Twinkle broke the silence.
"Okay now, everyone, control your hearts. Because clearly, he's looking like a king today.

As soon as Twinkle's speech ended with a cheeky grin, the lights shifted, and all eyes moved to the grand staircase.

And there she stood.

Ruhanika.

In a deep lehenga with soft gold embroidery, her hair curled to perfection, a delicate maang tika resting on her forehead, and eyes lined just right-she looked like a divine goddess sent straight from heaven.

The crowd gasped.

Yuvraj didn't waste a second. With eyes filled with love and fire, he walked toward the stairs, climbed them in quick steps, and stopped right in front of her.

And then-without asking, without hesitation-he held her hand, pulled her down gently, and walked her straight to the center stage.

Them😭❤️

As the cheers faded and the music turned soft, the crowd stepped back, giving space to the couple at the center of it all.

Yuvraj turned toward her slowly.
And for a moment, he just looked.

Not like a man seeing his fiancée...

But like a boy seeing his entire world wrapped in red and gold.

"You look like sin and salvation all in one," he whispered, brushing a soft strand of hair away from her face.

Rohanika smiled, eyes shining under the lights.

"You look like the reason every girl in this room is mad at me," she shot back, glancing at his sherwani-clad frame, her voice playfully low.

Yuvraj chuckled, pulling her a little closer.

"Well, you look like the reason I could never look at anyone else."

"And you look like the reason I broke every rule I once believed in," she answered back with fire in her eyes.

But just before he could respond-

"OKAY LOVEBIRDS!"
A loud voice broke the romantic haze.

Twinkle.

In her lilac saree and six-inch heels, hands on her waist and mischief in her eyes.

"Please let the rest of us breathe while you two exchange vows with your eyes!"

Nakul jumped in, smirking.
"Also, Rohanika... do we even matter anymore?"
He made a fake sob, clutching Arjun's shoulder.
"We raised her. We protected her. And now she's just... gone to Sherwani Boy."

Arjun added dramatically,
"We'll always be the forgotten men of her past. I hope you're happy, Yuvraj."

Everyone burst into laughter, even the guests.

Twinkle joined the fun, pointing at Yuvraj,
"And you! Don't think I didn't notice the way your jaw dropped when she walked in. Pick it up from the floor, Mister Groomzilla."

Yuvraj smirked and winked at her,
"Jealous much, Maid of Honor?"

Twinkle raised her brow,
"Please. I'm the reason she's late. I made her look this good."

Rohanika laughed, resting her hand on Twinkle's shoulder,
"Correction: I was born this way. But Twinkle did make sure my lipstick would ruin Yuvraj's life tonight."

Yuvraj grinned, leaned into her ear, and whispered,
"Already ruined. And happily so."

The crowd "awww'd" and the cameras clicked, but their world felt small.

It was laughter, love, light teasing, and the quiet promise of forever.

And standing among their friends, their chaos, and their comfort-
They weren't just a couple getting engaged.

They were a family being built.

And in the middle of all the light and cheers and laughter-
On the left side of the crowd, away from the spotlight, stood Kabir, Ruhan, Yug, and Rudransh.

The crowd was loud.
But their silence was louder.
Their eyes were fixed on her.
Rohanika.

Their little sister.

The same girl who once used to chase after them with a broken toy, scream at them for stealing her chocolates, cry when they left for boarding school...
Now smiling in the arms of a man they had never truly accepted.

She looked... breathtaking.
No. Beyond that.

She looked like a storm finally finding her calm.

And yet, not even once-
Not even for a second did she glance in their direction.

She didn't look for them in the crowd.

She didn't search their eyes for approval, or their faces for support.

And that-
That hurt more than anything.

Yug swallowed hard, fists clenched in the pockets of his sherwani.

"She didn't even see us," he muttered under his breath.

Ruhan tried to brush it off with a smile, but his voice cracked.
"She doesn't need us anymore. That's okay, right?"

Kabir's eyes didn't leave the stage.
He didn't say a word.
He didn't need to.
The ache in his gaze said it all.

And then there was Rudransh.
The eldest.
The silent one.
The one who always understood more than he said.

He clenched his jaw as the memories flooded back-
The way they let her go.
The way they didn't fight when she cried.
The way they stayed silent when she needed them the most.

They thought time would fix it.
That she'd come back like always.

But this time...
She chose someone else.

And it was too late to be the brothers they should've been.

His voice came out in a whisper.
"We let her become a stranger."

None of them spoke after that.

Author's POV

The stage glowed under the soft hue of golden lights.

And then-
The music paused.
The world went still.

Because at the center of it all stood Yuvraj.

Yuvraj stopped right in front of her.

The crowd silenced.

Everyone held their breath as he slowly went down...

On one knee.

But his smile? Still mischievous. Still very him.

He took her hand gently, kissed her knuckles, and looked up-

"You always said I was dramatic. Well, tonight, I'm proving you right."
He grinned, the crowd chuckled softly.

"Because this isn't just a proposal, Rohanika."
"This is a declaration."
"To every version of me that has ever existed-before you, with you, after you."

Her eyes shimmered with tears, but her lips never stopped smiling.

"You've seen me at my wildest... you've tamed me with your silences. You've walked beside me without ever asking for anything. And yet... I am the one who gets everything."

He took a velvet box from Veer's hands-who proudly passed it forward with a wink.

And then, Yuvraj opened it.

Inside was a ring made of white gold, holding a sapphire shaped like a teardrop, surrounded by diamonds.

Elegant. Bold. Timeless.

Just like her.

"So tonight, I ask you-Rohanika
Will you marry me? Will you let me annoy you forever? Will you let me love you, laugh with you, fight with you... and grow old with you?"

Rohanika couldn't speak.

She simply nodded.
Fast. Tearfully. Unstoppably.

And whispered-
"Always."

Yuvraj slid the ring on her finger.

She bent down and hugged him, both of them lost in their own world.

The crowd exploded-

"RUHANIKA! YUVRAAJ!"
The cheers, the applause, the whistles-
It felt like fireworks bursting in everyone's chest.

But before he could even get up-
Rohanika suddenly held his face in both hands.

Softly. Gently. As if she was afraid it would all disappear.

Her eyes met his.
The tears had already escaped.
And then-

"I love you."

For the first time, she said it in front of everyone.

"Yuvraaj I love you. Madly, deeply, completely."
"You're the only person who ever saw me. Who made me feel real."

He looked stunned.

Like those words he waited years to hear had finally landed in his chest like a lifetime of peace.

Rohanika smiled through her tears, heart thudding in her throat.
"You didn't just fall in love with me... you fought for me. You waited for me. And you never once made me feel like I was hard to love."

She stepped back. Slowly took out a smaller box, given secretly by Veer.

Opened it.

A silver band. Classic. Elegant. With a tiny engraved 'R' on the inside.

The hall gasped softly. Because nobody saw this coming.

Rohanika took his hand.
"Now let me love you back."

And gently, she slid the ring onto his finger.

The moment froze.

Yuvraaj was speechless. His throat tightened.

And when she smiled and whispered-
"You're mine too, Yuvraaj. Not just tonight. Always."

-he pulled her into a tight hug, lifting her slightly off the floor.

The applause began again. But this time...

There were tears in everyone's eyes.

From the corners-Kabir, Ruhan, and even her quiet brother Rudransh stood frozen. Watching the sister they once failed-

Now glowing in the love she deserved.

Twinkle wiped her eyes dramatically, then shouted,
"Okay now I'm crying and I hate you both. Where's my tissue?!"

Nakul shouted from the side,
"Bro just get married now! Let's skip the shaadi and go straight to honeymoon!"

Arjun added,
"Do not corrupt the children, Nakul. Veer and Vikram's innocence is at stake!"

The hall erupted in laughter.

But in the middle of it all-

Ruhanika and Yuvraaj just stood there.

His ring on her finger.
Her ring on his.

Two hearts,
One promise.

Forever.

They were still in their own world.

Yuvraaj's forehead rested against hers.
Her fingers curled over his shirt.
No words. Just eyes, and heartbeats louder than any applause.

It was like the crowd didn't exist.

Until-

"Ahem!"

The voice sliced through the moment.

"Laila-Majnu, excuse me?"

Rohanika blinked and turned-only to see Twinkle standing there, arms crossed, one eyebrow raised, wearing a mischievous smirk.

"If you're done romancing like there's no one else in this world, can we please get to your official first dance?"
"You know, the one where people dance with their legs, not just eyes?"

The crowd burst out laughing.

Yuvraaj chuckled, rubbing his forehead gently against Rohanika's before whispering,
"Our manager has arrived."

Rohanika giggled as Twinkle rolled her eyes dramatically.

She dragged both of them-literally-towards the centre of the hall, where a beautiful round stage was lit up under a cascade of fairy lights and petals.

The music began to rise.
Soft, like a whisper of wind brushing over still waters.

A thousand fairy lights blinked above them, like the stars had decided to stay a little closer tonight.

And in the middle of it all stood Ruhanika and Yuvraaj-hands locked, eyes fixed on each other, as if the universe had gone silent just for them.

Yuvraaj took a slow step forward, guiding her gently.

Their fingers interlaced perfectly.
Her free hand rested lightly over his shoulder, and his hand found its place at the small of her back.

Neither of them said a word.

They didn't need to.

Their smiles said enough.

Their eyes... were still speaking stories that no one else could hear.

He swayed with her slowly, just a step at first.

And she followed, her lehenga shimmering with each movement, her earrings brushing against her cheeks as she looked up at him.

He looked down at her like she was the only thing he'd ever waited for.

Their rhythm wasn't perfect.
But it didn't need to be.
Because it was theirs.

At one point, he twirled her-

And for a second, time really did stop.

She laughed.

A soft, breathless sound, the kind that only came from pure joy.
Her eyes sparkled like they held moonlight.

Yuvraaj smiled at her laugh. That smile-the kind that reaches the eyes and never forgets how it feels.

He pulled her close again, her palm landing on his chest.

And then he whispered softly,
"You know, I never knew I could dance..."

She raised her brows.
"Really?"

He leaned in a little closer.
"But then you walked into my life... and suddenly, everything found rhythm."

Ruhanika couldn't help it. Her cheeks flushed.

But before she could reply, he added with a smirk-
"Also, if I step on your lehenga, it's 100% not my fault."

She gasped playfully, and hit his shoulder lightly.
"Yuvraaj!"

They laughed again.

Their steps remained slow.

His fingers gently ran along her knuckles. Her breath caught.

She rested her head against his shoulder for a moment, eyes closed.

And he closed his too.
In that moment-surrounded by people, cameras, cheers-they found a space where only they existed.
Not the stage.
Not the music.
Just their love.

Simple.
Quiet.
Eternal.

As the song faded, he looked at her.
"One day," he whispered, "we'll dance like this in our living room. No lights. No music. Just us."

She looked up, her eyes a little wet.

"Promise?"

He kissed the top of her forehead.

"Forever."

And as the final note of the song played, he spun her one last time, pulling her into a soft embrace as the crowd stood and clapped.

Their first dance...

Not grand.
Not dramatic.

But undeniably beautiful.

Just like them.

Author's Note 💌

I really tried to make this scene beautiful. Simple, soft, romantic - just like Yuvraaj and Ruhanika deserved 🥺✨

Their first dance wasn't about being perfect, it was about being real. I poured a lot of feeling into this one, so you guys tell me how is it?

Did it touch your heart?
