RUHANIKA POV*
I was sitting quietly in front of the mirror, already dressed for the Mehendi function. The soft green lehenga flowed around me like a calm river, its embroidery catching the light every time I moved even slightly. My hair had been styled simply, a few delicate flowers tucked into the curls, and my jewelry was light but elegant. Everything about the look was intentionally simple, because Mehendi was supposed to feel fresh, bright and effortless.
